Le Vivier launches the Museond Prize for Creativity in Mixed Music, a unique initiative dedicated to contemporary composition. This annual award, created through the support of John Fairbrother, founder of the Museond Fund, offers Canadian citizens and permanent residents the opportunity to compose an original work for acoustic instruments and electronic devices.

For its first edition, the laureate will compose a piece for the Quasar saxophone quartet, which will be premiered in March 2027 during the La Semaine du Neuf festival. A total amount of $10,000 will be awarded for the creation of a 14-minute work, showcasing innovation and artistic boldness.
