The 8th Electro Series takes off!

In the first week of December, our four guest composers arrived in Montreal to begin a week of residence and for the following five days Myriam Bleau, Gene Coleman, Örjan Sandred and Bertrand Dubedout (here from France!) created and explored the far reaches of electronic music.

We are fortunate to be back with our Fiery Encounters! For this 10th edition, we will present a round-table on the question: "Should the concert form be redefined? For whom? Why? How?". The event will take place at the Espace-Custeau of the Gesù, from 3:00 p.m. Admission is free and a drink will be offered to all members of the public.

Animator: Quentin Lauvray

Invited guests: Simon Bertrand, Noam Bierstone, Alexandre David & Sylvie Teste

Winner of the new music creation and dissemination residency program (offered by the Conseil des arts de Montréal and the réseau Accès culture in collaboration with Groupe Le Vivier), Quasar is participating this Fall in a series of creative residencies with the next-generation composer Brice Gatinet.
