Description
After the success of the Montréal-Mexico project in 2023, Quasar – saxophone quartet is proud to announce the renewal of its collaboration with the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey (ESMDM). This new transcultural initiative will bring together the worlds of contemporary music and dance from Quebec and Mexico through an ambitious production.
The project will unite five composers and choreographers from both communities, who will work in tandem to create five original works performed by ten dancers from ESMDM and the musicians of Quasar. By combining choreographic research with contemporary musical composition, this collaboration explores new forms of dialogue between bodies and sounds while fostering a deep artistic and cultural exchange.
Dancers of ESMDM :
- Grecia Kristell Chapa Gonzalez
- Sofia Tellez Marquez
- Paola Espinosa Castro
- Jorge Daniel Gomez Andrade
- Santiago Morales Maya
- Cristina Mabeth Soto Martinez
