Quasar launches its 2025-2026 Montreal Series with a bang! After a fruitful first exchange in 2021 (Quebec-Basque Country), Quasar reunites with Trio Zukan (percussion, accordion and txistu) for Chambre d'écoute: an in-depth encounter of Quebec and Basque new music in a unique, immersive concert. Quebec composer Chantale Laplante's Chambre d'écoute 2, which lends its title to the concert, opens with an international premiere. This will be followed by a rich and daring program showcasing the colors of the two ensembles, which the public will be able to discover in a variety of formations and sonorities: trio, quartet, quintet and even septet, acoustic or with electronics - a must-see event for the Montreal season!
