Quasar-Chestra

Large saxophone ensemble

Concert

Description

A tribute to Spanish-Canadian composer José Evangelista is celebrated by Quasar in a concert dedicated to works for large saxophone ensembles: a unique chance to see a dozen saxophones perform on stage. Quasar is proud to welcome the new generation of saxophonists and give them an opportunity to perform great works from the repertoire. The quartet alone will also present the Montreal premiere of Georg Friedrich Haas' Saxophonquartett.

A Quasar production, in collaboration with the Schulich School of Music and the Société de musique contemporaine du Québec.
