L’instant liquide is an object whose only constant is change, a supple form whose limits undergo a continuous transformation, and evolve, sometimes resolutely, sometimes along a slope so gentle that one could almost believe it to be static. Its movement is the result of a tension between the vectors of an incessant transformation and a stabilization that will never be finalized. This soft object moves in an infinite instant whose beginning and end cannot be defined. Ideally, this piece would therefore have already been set in motion and would continue to be played in a loop, infinitely. Due to practical considerations, L’instant liquide has a beginning and an end, giving us a window on its process, a single loop drawn from an infinite moment.
