Residency with Tour de Bras

Special event

Program
Description

Quasar will undertake a creative residency in collaboration with Tour de Bras, a Rimouski‑based organization renowned for its commitment to the creation, production, and dissemination of improvised music.

This week of work will bring together artists with rich and complementary artistic worlds: Catherine S. Massicotte (violin), Antoine Létourneau‑Berger (percussion and electronics), Éric Normand (electric bass), Rémi Bélanger de Beauport (cello and composition), and Liberté‑Anne Lymberiou. Together, they will explore new sonic pathways and develop original musical material.

The residency will conclude with a public workshop, offering an exclusive first look at the creative process and the emerging works — a unique opportunity to discover the musical universe shaped throughout this artistic encounter.
