In three movements

Montreal / New Music Festival

The virtuoso musicians from the Quasar saxophone quartet present an 'all-premieres' concert about motion. The programme consists of three works by three Canadian composers, all using the theme of "night" in different ways. Here, “flying saxophones” circle in the air and there, the musicians’ motions on stage trigger an electronic audio-treatment device. Through the works, as the sound relentlessly moves around in space, music becomes perceivable as an “art of movement.”

A coproduction Quasar-MNM.
