Born in 1960 in Dresden, Henry Koch finished his studies  in music in 1986. Supported by a job at Dresden Centre of Contemporary Music, he composed numerous works for concert, film, theatre play, dance and other performances. Since 1992 he is freelanced, travelled quite a bit and finally settled in Berlin in 2003.

These days the reconstruction of unfinished historical music projects is one of the more fascinating aspects of his professional life, another the creation of specific sound structures for multisensual installations and of course - composing.
