Cathedral of fire

The piece occilates between contingently developing states of sound, leaving the players an opportunity to negotiate the organization of micro events in developing waves of intensity and descents into silence. With a rhythmic figure at its heart, the projection of sound is organized to interact with the cavity of the performance space.

As always, the work stands as a tool for the the participants to alleviate shame, oppression, and aggrievement by giving themselves over to each other.
