Quasar in coproduction with Quatuor Bozzini and SuperMusique

Quasar joins forces with the Bozzini Quartet and SuperMusique Productions to assemble, in the brevity of an evening, a sonic fresco mirroring new music from Montreal. From a straightforward scratching to the ornamentation of a wall of audio-visual sensations, Cathédrale-Graffiti is a veneration of the ephemeral, a flirtation with the forbidden.

The concert on October 4 will be preceded by the installment of a Fiery Encounter, at 7 pm at Espace Custeau. These round-table discussions, hosted by Philippe Leroux, are intended to give the creating music community a new forum for exchange and debate.

About In Vivo Series:

Since 2004, the In Vivo series has served as the centrepiece of all possibilities; be they written music, improvised music, or open works, they have been replete with the unexpected – dynamic scenarios that challenge and inspire the musicians without encumbering them with labels and limitations. Under the artistic direction of Jean-Marc Bouchard, In Vivo makes possible fervent and intense encounters between Quasar and musicians from near and far, each of whom is as exciting and superb as the next.
