Disque Bleu : Quasar launches a sixth album Made In Quebec

Montréal, June 3rd, 2022 – After promoting it exclusively at the 38th Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville (FIMAV), Quasar officially launches their Disque Bleu today on Bandcamp.

This sixth release by QUASAR, dedicated to composers based in Quebec, is a return to their roots with five acoustic works recorded in 2020 at the Chapelle Historique du Bon-Pasteur. Resolutely cosmopolitan in scope, these composers offer contrasting and singular works that testify to the vitality and diversity of the new music scene in Quebec : Ofer Pelz – I Need To Hear It First (2018), Yannick Plamondon – Passage (2019), Émilie Girard-Charest – Bestiaire (2018), Katia Makdissi-Warren – ADN 0,5% (2019) and Michael Oesterle – Sometime (2004).
